The TPLO is currently the commonly recommended technique to stabilize a canine stifle suffering from a torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament. In this novel procedure, the weight-bearing surface and geometry of the stifle are changed to reduce or eliminate the need for a Cranial Cruciate Ligament.
