Neal Forman, DVM
Neal Forman grew up in West Los Angeles and has lived in California ever since. He has always loved animals and started working at a small animal hospital in West Los Angeles while finishing his undergraduate studies obtaining a BA in Biology at UC Santa Cruz. It was while working in West LA that he met his future wife, Genny.
Dr. Forman attended Ross University for his veterinary training and graduated in 2000. Ross University is located in the West Indies and he felt it was an excellent experience. After his wife Genny moved down to San Diego to pursue her career, Dr. Forman started working for a 24-hour emergency clinic. He worked at this practice for 8 years focusing on general medicine, surgery and emergency care. He eventually became the head veterinarian, managing a team of 8 veterinarians and 40 staff members. After 8 years he decided to work up in the Orange County area at a busy day practice, perfecting his skills and getting trained in abdominal ultrasound and Stem Cell therapy. After 7 years at this practice, Dr. Forman decided to come “home” to Encinitas and joined the doctors and staff of All Pets Animal Hospital.
When not working, Dr. Forman loves to spend time with my wife and my 2 daughters, Jordan and Taylor. They keep him very busy. His family also consists of “Olivia”, a Chihuahua and 2 cats - “Stoli” and “Scarlett.” Some of his hobbies are hiking, swimming and reading science fiction or suspense novels.
